Byron Meo – President/CEO
BYRON MEO is President The Meo Group, a real estate acquisition and management company based in Southern California.
Mr. Meo oversees due diligence, acquisition, management, and disposition of single family homes and small apartment units in the Southern California real estate market and is directly responsible for the acquisition, financing, and property management of single family homes in Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties.
Having been a successful commercial broker for the past 5 years, Mr. Meo also specializes in storage investments and multi-family housing.
In September 2009, he launched the “HOME RESTORATION” Program, through a privately-held fund the California Distressed Asset Fund LLC for real estate investors and was designed to assist homeowners facing foreclosure.
Having built up an impressive track record, Byron Meo has been able to attract wealthy local investors and a broad prestigious base of international clients.
A former graduate of Cal Berkeley, Byron Meo has over 28 years’ experience managing investment and has served as Vice President-Investments for such notable firms as Morgan Stanley and UBS PaineWebber.
Byron Meo received a business degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1984 and currently holds a Series 7, 63 and Real Estate licenses. He is also a Certified Short Sale Specialist.
Saletta Hatchett – Director of Marketing & Administration
Following collegiate endeavors, Saletta Hatchett’s 30-year tenure in compliance administration would begin in Risk Management as Senior Risk Management Administrator of Crawford Risk Management Services, the world’s largest independent provider of claims management and self-insured solutions. Ms. Hatchett would serve Fortune 500 and 1000 companies by administering claims and legal settlements.
Over the next 10 years, Ms. Hatchett would perform dual executive roles as Administrative Director and Public Relations Specialist for a prominent Workers’ Compensation Defense Law firm in Southern California. Her functions there were allocated to legal service contract negotiations, staff management, Public Relations and client service administration.
In 1996, Ms. Hatchett joined forces with Byron Meo at UBS PaineWebber where she spear-headed his client service and compliance administration division; then on to Morgan Stanley in 1999, before assuming her current role as Director of Marketing & Administration for The Meo Group in 2004.
Ms. Hatchett demonstrates leadership in her ability to work collaboratively with diverse, cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives and deliver favorable results. “It truly takes a village and the creative acumen of top-drawer talent to achieve well-rounded results in any endeavor of pursuit.” The ability to synthesize information from many sources to create, articulate, and implement planning strategies that will energize the efficacy and organization around a particular project or solution are her strong points that have garnered The Meo Group’s administrative team nationwide recognition for its excellence in compliance performance and administrative accountability.
Saletta’s current role at The Meo Group requires her to oversee and establish protocol for all facets of administration and regulatory compliance; to ensure optimum performance and productivity with respect to client service initiatives; and to effectively articulate all aspects of corporate and marketing communications in the real estate market place.
